Just wanted to share some pics of the 8 pointer I shot this year. Saturday of the early gun season in Ontario, had only seen two deer all week.
Switched spots and this guy came crashing through the bush at 7:10 am, saw his rack come through first and that got the blood pumping. Got a lucky shot and he dropped right in his tracks.
Had to call the brother in law and nephew out to help get him out of the field. I had all but given up on this season but thought I had so many hours into it that one more day wouldn't hurt.
Getting this one deer makes you forget about the rest of the week.
