The Knoxx COPstock arrived from Wolverine today for my 870. Simple installation, very rugged feeling piece and fits very snugly with the firearm. With my Hogue forend and the stock folded closed, the action will cycle, but only leaves perhaps 2mm (or less) of room. Range report will follow in the next few days...I'm looking forward to testing Knoxx's claim of dramatically reducing felt-recoil.

As a side-note, Ryan at Wolverine made the entire transaction very smooth. Quick to reply to all emails, friendly, easy to deal with.

Congrats... I for one will be waiting for the verdict.

The Knoxx-folder looks great with the Hogue-Foregrip... was that accidental?
(Can you buy just the fore-grips?)

You have to let us know how it feels (i.e. doesn't feel ;)),
Take care

How does that stock reduce recoil? is there a recoil system in the rear of the grip?

From Knoxx

The COPstock Folder pistol grip contains the unique Knoxx recoil-reducing mechanism and is covered in a soft rubber grip sleeve with finger grooves to improve control and grip in all weather conditions. The patented recoil-reducing mechanism reduces muzzle flip in addition to taming recoil. Shooters testing the COPstock Folder with 3 inch Magnum Buckshot loads have found that there is very little discernible recoil in either open or folded positions, with virtually no muzzle flip
