My Alberta Tactical Rifle has been ordered

I stopped off at ATRS today and dropped off my Rem 700 stainless short action and my AI chassis. This is what We/I (Rick and I) decided on: Remington 700 stainless s/a
AI chassis system with FDE skins
22" Rock Creek barrel chambered in 308 with a M40 contour and a 1-11.27" twist
Jewel trigger
ATRS 20 moa base and TPS rings
Barrel and action finished with cerakote in FDE
An oversize recoil lug
and a ATRS bolt knob

I just got a call from Dustin at ATRS. My rifle is done! Only a month and a half. Now I just need to get out to Calgary to pick it up. Thanks ATRS for the very quick turn around. Rod

I have 2 scopes that I will be putting on it. One is a Leupold Mark4 3.5-10 and the other is a SWFA Super Sniper 16X. Eventually I will upgrade the SWFA for a Sightron 8-32x56.

Here ya go, but my 12x50 Schmidt is not included!!

Not the best grouping I have ever shot, but it was HOT and I was tired.
For factory fodder not too bad, just imagine what REAL ammo could do.

The AI skins are FDE. The metal should also be FDE but it is hard to tell from the pics.

It would be nice if FDE was FDE, unfortunately AI has a different idea of what FDE is.

Is the metal FDE? I can't tell from my phone. But no matter what it is I think it looks great. Hopefully I will be there next week to pick it up.

It is what CeraKote calls FDE, but yes the metal is all coated.

I had my barrel and action done in FDE and it looks great. Don't worry
