So I thought id play around and put some money into an SKS. Ya I know its an SKS, but they are a fun gun to shoot and I wanted something unique that had a low initial cost. I have a couple VZ's already. So we chopped the barrel down to 18.6 inches and threaded on a muzzle brake. We filed the transition in the barrel from where the front post used to be. I die grinded out the ejection part on my receiver to allow the bullets to eject to the side around 2-3 o clock instead of straight up in the air. Then I bought the AR mag adaptor out of Texas. Had the gun smith mill out what needed to be done on the receiver and the bolt. I then had the rear take down pin taken out and had a allan key screw threaded in there. Threw it in an archangel stock that took forever to dremel out enough material so the new mag adaptor would fit in it. I then went out and purchased magwedge's for the mags to give it a stick mag look. The only things left is to get the BC Scout mount attached with a Holosun red dot tomorrow and send it off to Armacoat to get sprayed black so everything matches. Thanks for looking.
