My friend got an ar armoures wrench for himself. He said he wasnt sure what he would do with it. Build more ar i told him.

You could have also said "here is my ar, there are many like it but this one is mine".
Time to buy another upper for a new build.
At one point a couple years ago I had four complete AR-15's, a couple extra complete uppers and two AR-10's, there's always room for more AR's in the collection.
I'm back down to two right now, a 12 inch 9mm and a 16 inch light weight build but I'm always tempted to build another one or two

The only way to be truly satisfied with your AR is to buy all the most expensive parts you have always wanted, without your wife finding out how much you spent! Then, nothing feels better than when someone says "hey... that's pretty cool!" because no matter how much you try to explain it to your wife, you are going to lose. Just saying...
Lol, my wife knows better than to say anything about my gun spending, I just tell her to go count her purses or shoes and balance is restored.
I find it easiest to tell them you sold something to pay for the new thing, she doesn't need to know the finer details
