nice!!! do you ever shoot yours? I recently started reloading .38 super brass to .38 auto load specs. they shoot like a dream. The full hammer version looks nice, I guess they made the spurred hammer version as to not get caught when you pull it out of your pocket.

Haven't shot this particular one yet but will. I have some dies & brass to load for it as well.

Have had one in the past though and they shoot pretty well given the vintage & dinky sites on 'em.

haha yeah I call them "low profile" but yes for the size of the sights you can get some pretty decent groups. for blue dot powder my loads say to start at 6.7 and do not exceed 7.5 but I'm starting off at 6.5 tonight just to be safe. I'll snap some pics and post back later.

That 380 is a nice bullet. I don't have prohib status. Not sure if your Colt is. I got a Makorov and it's a blast to shoot. Nice piece you got there

Colt 1903 Pocket Hammer has a 114mm barrel and chambered in .38 only so its not prohibited. Beautiful pistol and on my list of must haves.

Curious: is there no safety? It is obviously single action... so were you supposed to #### the hammer with your thumb on drawing?
yes there is no safety, back in the day if you needed to carry it hot. you would pull the slide back to load a round into the chamber and either leave the hammer cocked or decock it and recock the hammer when you need to fire. I put 6 rounds through it tonight.

Would you mind sharing your load data for 38 Auto using 38 Super brass? Do you load 130 gr. or 124 gr. bullets? Just got the pistol, it's a beauty, can't wait to load up and shoot her.
