to fill in the new guys,I ordered a new 2.5-10x24 scope got send the wrong one.sent it back and they sent the right one, got a &40 credit and did not have to pay any shipping
.I get the scope mounted and go to the range,dialed in the scope with the help of the iron sights no rounds fired yet.I turn on the illumination and in is not working,so I phoned the place ware I got it and all I got was we will send it back for warranty.the next day I phoned back and said I was not happy and I wanted my money back.I was told that I could not get a refund because it had been mounted in rings, but I could sell the scope on consignment or sell it the them -20%
.I did not fell like loosing money so it got sent to be fixed.got it back 3weeks later and was told there was nothing wrong with it :? (the arms #22 rings I used had a sharp edge and made a mark on the finish,It was hinted that I crushed the tube witch I did not do).
So I remount the scope and go to sight in,I get 30 rds out and I do one last sight adjustment,turn on the illumination and nothing :? :x .Later at home I was trying to get it to work and remembered that the illumination did not work after my last sight adjustment so I turned it back and the illum turned back on,so I found the problem.I phoned the place ware I got it and told them the problem they phoned Nightforce.was told to send the scope back directly.at this point I was busy with other stuff and service rifle and the sniper competitions were over for the year.
Timeline:scope was ordered Early may last problem found early July sent it back 22 of august got it returned September 1.The problem was a short in the wire for the illumination.
will be going to the range on Sunday to sighted in.
Was hoping they would give me something for my lost time seeing that the scope did not work as it was supposed to new out of the box but I did not even get a letter.the only good thing was there speed of warranty work.
