:eek:

I recently got a challenger press and the wooden ball fell off the handle before I even put it together :confused:

<EGAD>
Don't turn this into a "Lee is Crap vs Lee is Good" thread please
</EGAD>

How can I fix this? Can I glue this back on? How is it supposed to fit in the first place? I can press it together, but if I push down on the handle with my girlie-strength it can turn and sometimes come off....somewhat annoying.

:( Thanks in advance

I just dropped my lee turret press while setting it up in the vise. Blew it into three pieces. Like undertaker said, I used Devcon 5 min epoxy. sanded the bumps smooth good as new. It was about the only part I couldn't find on the Lee site :( :(

I had the same problem, I roughed up the aluminum handle and then squirted some sillycone ;) into the ball. Let it sit for awhile and voila!

Mine bust the aluminum linkage in half , casting was full of air bubbles . Still have to rectify the problem , and yes my ball fell off too . I just smacked it back on . I still like lee products , I just should have gotten the better press .

you guys need to show your balls a little more tenderness lol
sorry had to put that in
just go to wally world or crappy tire and buy one of them cool shift knobs for like 10 bucks and epoxy it on you can even get neon ones as long as you got some place to plug it in

Zuke,

The plans are as follows. Weld a piece of 1/2"rod to a 5/8" cable clamp. Use 2 bearings 1/2"IDX7/8"OD, and use a piece of 7/8'ID tubing for your handle. Will post pics when it is done, unless anyone wants me to build them one?
