My best revolvers.....

I own eight revolvers presently. But the two that feel just about perfect in my hand are the long obselete Colt Model 3-5-7, with 6 inch barrel & another discontinued piece, the S&W Model 624, with the 6.5 inch barrel. I often wondered recently why this is so. And I think I have the answer:
Weight of Colt, 39 ounces, weight of 624, 39.5 ounces.
And being about half a pound lighter than my other magnum revolvers, they are less exhausting for long shooting sessions. With the right loads, both of these sixguns are stellar performers for bullseye shooting.

My favourite revolver is my 4" Model 19...it was also my first. I bought it over 20 years ago, before Wendy and her nonsense came to light. I also like the feel of my 4" Model 13. Next up would likely be the 4" Highway Patrolman.

4" 29, 25 or 57. They all balance nicely for me. - dan

All round favourite wheelgun is my 4" S&W Model 19.... although I am quite partial to a little Model 63, J frame, stainless in .22 lr, too.

I prefer the 4" K frame S&W in .38 or .357 also. I also really like a 3" Model 13 .357 with the Round Butt grip like the FBI used to issue, not too big and not too small.
