Hey! Just wanted to share with everyone. It took a little while, but I think I made a pretty good choice. :cool:

I got that same pistol the first year it was released and I love it. You made a great choice. Oh and happy b day!
Mines coming up later this month and if I can sell some truck accessories I have I'm gonna buy myself and old lever gun or a colt 1911. I'm the best b day present shopper...
 
Thanks for the well wishes!. It was on Tuesday (my bday) so that is when I had actually purchased the P226. Got the SATT Thursday so I was able to pick it on that night. So excited to go shoot it!. Ya I know what I like, but for anyone else. I need a road map and 'buy this thing' signs :D. Also, I'm going to look into reloading depending on if I shoot alot, so there will be a bunch to learn.

@Squadron303 - I will definitely look into the 5/20 mags, however I am wondering if there are butt plates that will work well? Or I suppose I could always get one 3D printed... there's an idea :).

Happy b-day! You know what the great thing about b-days is? The more you have the longer you live.

Nice pistol, you've chosen wisely birthday boy. I've got a few Sig's now(and counting), I usually do a full grips off lube up including mag cleaning when new. I only run mecgar mags no matter what it comes with. I've got 2 sets of g10 piranhas on order that should be in this week(black, no grey dots), never shot with them but fondled them over glass and they really are the cats ass.
