Well my 597 TVP has gone back to the point of sale for return and I hope I never see that POS or one like it ever again. In celebration I decided to mount a better scope on my old BSA supersport 5. I picked up a Bushnell Banner super 17. I wanted something under 40mm just for the profile as the gun has a low cheek piece. Also it has a dovetail so I like to keep the rings shorter. The scope is a 3.5-10x36 and I mounted it with Burris rings. The AO bell moves really nice but the markings aren't super accurate. I'm pretty impressed with it overall, especially for the money. The only thing I really don't like is if you put the yardage marked turret in the top, the scope cap won't go back on. Here are some targets from sighting it in tonight. All are five shot groups except the first which is 4

This is at 25 yards with American Eagle, the lone hole is the first shot then I roughly adjusted and shot the 4 shot group. Yah theres 4 in that hole. I didn't believe it myself but unless some missed the target completely theres 4 in that hole:)

at 75 with american eagle, the ones I covered were shot at 10 and 5 after I was done sighting in just to see where they would hit (about 1" low when zeroed at 50). I shot the bottom 3 to see where I was, then adjusted my zero at 50 then shot the 5 shot group.
