Shes done. The barrel and reciever are painted black. Stock has the cracks pined and is finished in linseed oil. Has sling mounts. Bead sight on front of a 20inch barrel. Recoil pads expoxied on the stock. Its not a bad little gun now. But I dont need it as much as I thought I did so.. see the EE if you want it =D

I was looking for a lost cost O/U, chop the barrels to 18.6" and chop the stock for a pistol grip, and Then finally parkerize all the steel parts.

Make sure that your O/U reaches the 26 " mark in that configuration...
Maybe you'll have to cut your barrel at 20-21" if you want the pistol grip

how did you do the sling mounts on the bbl?

I'll admit it..JB Weld Bronzing or silver soldering would have been the proper way but this was meant to be a tuff beater so "meh"
