Started the project early this year, initially as a M4 MWS clone, later evolved into a "keep it simple" carbine with the exception of the Knight's RAS.
- LMT 14.5" carbine upper.
- LMT carbine lower with standard trigger, replaced the factory Ergo grip with a Colt A2 pistol grip and substituted LMT's 6-position receiver extension with a Colt 4-pos. tube and CAR stock.
- Colt carry handle.
- Colt charging handle and M16 BCG.
- KAC M4 RAS.
- Colt side sling swivel adapter.
- Colt factory sling.

Staked the castle nut at two points (though nothing will beat LMT's stake-job, took me at least 30 minutes of pounding to get their castle nut loose):

The upper has a Cardinal forge mark, the Colt carry handle is a Cerro forging:

"N"-marked Colt CAR stock, prefer it to the later M4 style:

Chrome, 1:7 twist bore:

Replaced the LMT carbine buffer with a heavier Colt H1 type, also noticed that Colt's action spring was almost an inch longer than the factory LMT:

Colt "C" marked M16 carrier:

Colt Canada/Diemaco MP-tested bolt:

Now who's got 62 gr.?
