We all know the story. Baba says the grandkids need to be safe, so Gido takes the bolts out of the rifles and puts them in a coffee can in the garage. After he dies, Baba cleans out the garage and throws everything she doesn't recognize out, and two months later we see good rifles at auction minus the bolts.

My cousin has misplaced the bolt for his Husqvarna single shot 22 Model 55 Salonsgevar (often called a "SAKRAT" due to the safety marking). He's moved a couple times and has no idea what's become of it.

I've pointed him at Western Gun parts, but I'm reasonably certain that's gonna be a dry hole. Any other ideas? Anyone have an extra, or a particularly rough one with a decent bolt?

Not say'n your cousin didn't remove the bolt and now can't find it...
But Husqvarna singles are known for their bolts to just drop out if you breathe on the trigger, if the bolt is open.
Might have just fallen out somewhere and not been stored...
And I won't even mention missing extractors... ;)

Salongsgevär = Parlor rifle
Säkrat = SECURED - as in the position of the safety mechanism, not the model.
