I received an SP-01 Tactical in error when I ordered P-09. it was on my list so I said I'd keep it.

today I received my P-09.

what a lovely pistol.

I'm looking forward to taking them both out!

Run the spectrum on poly wonder nines, but I stopped at the P09. Not doubt that I'll try and grab a threaded P07 one day.

The only detractor - or thing to work around - is the sharp line on the bottom of the slide release. If you shoot with an ultra-high grip then you'll certainly get a little wear and tear.

Even with that said, I don't think better exists. There is a heavy user of the P09 (major trainer stateside - Mike Panone) who told me he has 12000+ rounds through each of his, and he's never had to change a thing.
