My wife and daughter were in the stand for about 20 minutes when this 6x4 came out. 150 yard shot with her Winchester Model 70 280 Rem. She was using a reduced load with a 150gr Sierra Gameking. The buck dropped on the spot. Proud Dad here.

Congratulations! That's a fine poking buck!
I'm crossing my fingers that my daughter will take up hunting and I'll get to experience something similar. She asked to come goose hunting with me this season and it made me pretty darn happy.
So who was more excited? Daughter or dad?
 
That is awesome! Brings back memories of my kids firsts... congrats to your daughter... and to you for raising a fine, grounded young lady.
 
Thanks for the kind words everyone. That is actually her 4th deer and 2nd buck. Her first buck is even bigger than this one. She was 12 when she got this one. She is 16 now.
 
Absolutely awesome. Daughter has been out with me watching this year hoping and praying she keeps it up and wants to hunt.....what a proud day
 
That is a great photo, both of them are. Props to your daughter on some real nice deer. Hope my 1.5 year old takes it up!
