I got my Can-Ammo Dominion Arms Grizzly today. I had to wait until 4am to take these pics... cruelty!

I must say, that after a tear down and wipe off, this thing is WELL made. I took a couple quick and tired pics. The machining is very good, the trigger group is very well done, and the trigger guard is metal. Hi-viz follower. I really like the stock set. (But the LOP is a tad long for my liking; hogue OM 12" stock set is in order!) The mag cap is pretty slick! It has an integral sling plate. (swivels) I will be taking it to the range on Sunday, along with fiddling with swapping parts with my 870MM tomorrow. Enjoy the pics! :D

Hey Nine, I am of the same opinion, this little shotgun is a good deal!!! Unfortunately, I can't see the pics, they show up as a ? mark...

Cheers

Looks well finished. The Griz appears to be a great deal.

Haven't been able to read all those other pages on the topic so far......is that gonna be offered with a 20" barrel?

Hey Nine,
Mine arrived yesterday as well, thanks to a 2 1/2 week additional trip courtesy of Canada Post.
I had about 10 minutes to look it over. First impression was good, I quickly checked it out with an Express and it looks like an exact clone of the old 870/express system. I am going to swap parts between guns later and hopefully shoot a couple hundred rounds tomorrow if it stops snowing.
It uses the Express style mag springretainer/cap assembly and mine appears to index properly on my Wingmaster.

Cheers

Hmmm, looking at those pics it does look well made, which has me wondering if CanAm is considering bringing in just parts, whole trigger groups for example... hint hint.

I don't see a market.

I for one really like the mag cap with the integral sling plate....

Looks really good Nine! Congrats on that purchase!
As always your pictures are really nice. Do you you have any pointers( equipment, techniques, etc. ) on how to take good pictures like yours?

2 things will really help you out; 1: no flash. 2: fixed camera position. Buy a cheapo tri-pod from walmart. I grabbed one a while back, it was like $8. Get some good lighting (natural light works well) , set up your camera on the tripod and use the timer. With no flash the exposure will be a bit longer, this will cause blur if you try to hold the camera. The camera I have now has a nice macro setting and the option to set the exposure manually.

Well I hit the range today; I am VERY VERY pleased with this shotgun. I put 50 shells, 10slugs and 5 buckshot down range. Not a single hiccup! I am surprised about how well it feeds, and cycles smoothly. This was a function test; putting it through it's paces and making sure it all works. It does, very well I might add. Had a blast! :D

Target 1; #4 shot @ 15M. (NOTE: All three targets are american eagle 9mm boxes)

Target 2; #4 shot @ 15M.

5 slug hits. The windage is OK, but it seems to shoot a tad high.
POA was center of target, POI was 12 O'clock. I'll have to try a 6 O'clock hold.
