light does not detatch tailcap is permanent. the upper is very tight it bows out a bit in most of the gas tubes I grabbed the longest one I had and it fit great, you can file a bit of the edges of the gas tube so it fits better and doesn't bow out. I would suggest a tapco ak saw grip it wil fit easier than a real saw grip. I haven't found anyone who shortens them no sorry.

i finally got my fab stock on, feels much better than the wood. That rubber butt pad is great. I must say i was not sure how i was going to like the folder, i was prepared to weld it, but it is rock solid.
I just wish i knew some one who could get the tri-rail upper gaurds from zbrane.cz. From the pics it looks prettys good.
