My first 10/22 just came in the mail!

I just got my first 10/22 in a trade with a fellow CGNer...wood laminate stock that I will be replacing as soon as I sell one more item on the EE...trying to resist the urge to just start shopping...gotta stick to the plan and keep that credit card low...I got big plans for this bad boy!

Here it is as it stands now, a before picture:

Polish internals and stone the hammer a bit will make one huge improvement for free pretty much just take some time and elbow grease. Also do the auto bolt release, takes like 5 minutes to do with a dremel and is more useful.

Thanks I am going to hang on to the stock. My plan is to buy the fs556 then buy decent quality AR parts as I want to eventually get into ARs. Then I will probably use this stock again with the 10/22. It is nice, I was almost disapointed when I saw it because I knew I wanted to make a black rifle out of it from before I made the trade! I was just looking for any 10/22 with an aluminum trigger group, the nice stock was a bonus.
