Received this beauty last week. Its been forgotten in a closet I think, the barrel has strong rifling but its hidden under a lots of dust and what-have-you. The bolt and hammer are in great condition but the other parts are covered in dust fuz and old grease. Plus the butt plate is severely rusted.

What does the "+.05" mean on the front sight?

The trigger guard screws are heavy beaten up, is this common?

The metal looks good. The rifle should shoot well. My buttplate also looks worse than the rest of the metal on my rifle, but not that bad. Shoot the thing and give us a range report!
