Just checked out from Nordic Marksman website.

Haven't seen a relatively good sale on them and thought I'd jump on this.

Going from bench to bush so 15" is perfect for my applications...plus I tend to lean for 16" - 18" barrels for .22lr.

Look forward to this since all my other rimfire rifles are sub $800.

The closest I can relate is my CZ 453 Varmint.

Good deal?....Great rifle is what everyone is telling me........thoughts?

Thanks for your time!

The 1417 or 16 in this picture is a great light bush gun that is crazy accurate. I'm keeping mine! You will not be disappointed. Try find a light scope and ring set for the best combo deal :)

Wait, if you're going to call her "Annie", doesn't she need to be a lever action? That Anschutz looks more like a "Hilda" or a "Helga", you know! ;)

I'm planning to get a Henry Frontier (model H001T) for plinking in the woods.

Good...thanks.

I tend to do most shooting with it from 10-50 meters.

I've got a VX-2 1-4 x20mm that might just complement it.

Beautiful gun. I just bought a 1710 (the last one they had). If you are like me, you will be peeling it out of the safe every other day just to stare at it. Annies in general are not plentiful, so its highly unlikely you will come across anther one of those any time soon.

Beautiful gun, congrats! I was considering one of those short-barreled "Annies" in 17HMR not too long ago. My wallet slapped some sense into me. :) I'm afraid that if I even handled one of those...every 22 I own would be sold to fund one.

Look forward to hearing how she shoots.

Pfffffffft................went gofer shooting yesterday and took a few 22's.
The new RAR performed wonderfully, but I always go back to me Winchester Model 69A.
Bin butchered, but what a pleasant old gal to take fer a walk.
The T-Bolt is a great shooter, but Winnie always gits the walk in the park.

Just me werds here...............

I'm sure I'll be doing the same. As exciting as it may be, I'll try not to neglect my other babies...lol.

You will not be disappointed with an Annie. I like CZ's very much but Annie's are in another league.

$89.00 dollars I would expect that shipping would be overnight expedited. I have one old Anschutz and I just bought 3 more last Friday. Trade ex had some priced well. You will enjoy shooting it !

LOL, I just realized (a couple time zones later)... "Annie" for Anschutz rather than for Annie Oakley. :)

Yes it is common for Anschutz shooters to refer to their rifles as «Annies».
If you go on rimfire central in the anschutz section, it is regular.

Yes....$89.95.....tough to swallow but not much any of us can do about it.

And on top of that $89.95 is the $11.69 shipping tax. That's over $100 for shipping a rifle. I recently bought a new Anschutz and requested it to be shipped by Canada Post as it is more convenient than by courier (which is what the $89.95 plus shipping tax is for). The postage was under $70 but I was still charged $89.95 (plus the shipping tax).

Must be the geographics of the postal area in Nova Scotia.

I suggest they move to a more central locale in Canada.

Or maybe down the block from me.

But all kidding aside, it came in 1.5 days from there to Vancouver...perhaps that's what you get for that price......fast!
