Nice. Welcome to the wonderful world of antique handguns.
I would say "betcha can't stop with just one", but I see that its already too late. Sure - it starts off innocently enough, maybe a friend shows you one... then you have to try one, just once, you know you could stop anytime you wish. Next, you are looking for one of your own to shoot when your friend isn't around. First one, then another. Soon you will be selling them, just to support your own habbit - Then your hooked!

Congrats! now the addiction has started I started with just wanting one now I don't even want to think about the dollar figure but its not to late for you . I'm an incurable collector no hope for me but I can help you if you send me your antique now it may not be to late for you

There very light weight guns compared to a SAA Colt its Amazeing the weight diffrence.
I can see why a fast gunsliger like Billy the kid liked the Lightning and thunder type colts over the SAAs.

The Thunderer is a lightweight, for sure. I had one with a short barrel (2 7/8" I think) and no ejector. In that configuration it was more of a pocket gun than a holster piece.
So, you were the one!
I was eyeing that one up too.
I have two antiques now. Pretty expensive hobby I must say, but just thinking of the history contained in these survivors makes it worth it.
All the hands that have held them, and what was seen through those sights.
