Well I have a Stagarms Model 2T on order right now, but still waiting on it to arrive. So in the meantime I went into Wholesale sports today and happened to glance into one of the locked cabinets and saw a nice shiney Smith and Wesson M&P 15.....

Well, a HUGE thanks to the Ont CFO's I was able to walk out of there 2 hours later with my Restricted AR and my Temp ATT (valid for a full month).

I cannot wait to get home to Ontario now so I can put some rounds down range while I wait for my other AR to arrive :-D

Congrats! AR's are a great rifle to own.

I hope to see a range report and photos soon.

Word of advice, never thank your slave master for not whipping you as many times as they could have.

The CFO is not your friend. I am dead serious about that.

Congrats on getting an AR, Valk! They're magnificant machines of precision, fun and lightweight to handle, and with many customizable options to make the rifle/carbine unique to it's master.

I'm still sporting My Norinco CQ but one day I'll get some of that fancy North American Stuff!!!

I have a British made American AR variant. :D

Sabre Defense Industries XR15CQBR subcarbine w/ SS bore. Best little AR I've ever fired (and the first AR variant I've owned). Was a costly leap in firearm ownership for me, but a measured one. I did my research (of the various brands/models) before deciding on pushing my wallet though am immensely satisfied. Have fired 600+ rnds so far without any stoppages (well, there were a couple, but those were 100% magazine related)!

Some day I plan to get a Norinco M4 (or the CQ311) which I'll use the .22lr conversion kit exclusively as well as being an able back up for parts, or an AR180b as a 5.56/.223 plinker. Currently I plan to just focus most my funds on my XR, unless a really good deal comes along.

i wanna get rid of my AR so bad!! if i could shoot it outdoors, in a field somewhere, i would probably not regret buying one as I do now :(
Why do you want to get rid of it so bad? With that size of an AR, I'm pretty sure you could use it in a handgun range as well. There's many interesting range applications you could train with it in. Also, not to mention, that's a prefect little "in-case-zombies-or-aliens-or-zombie-alien-terrorists-attack" personal defence weapon. LOL :D. But seriously.

completely ignored :( anyone want a free AR?

I looked at the pix. Looks like a nice piece. What's the thing over the muzzle?

Before anyone jumps at me: I'm a total AR Noob, so that might be a stupid question. I got kinda dumped on for asking a dumb Q on the Tavor sight thread, so I these days I ask questions with a certain sense trepidation...
