I put the bipod on the rear stud to try and reduce the flex.

That's almost exactly like mine.

Savage 10 FLP
TPS 0 MOA base
Burris Signature Zee Rings
3200 10X40
Harris BR

Shoots 1 moa at 100yds with UMC 150gr FMJ ..... can't wait to start reloading :)

Make sure you keep an eye on the action screws , mine worked loose under recoil the first time I had it at the range.

Hey Ducimus great build ! a range report please... can you let me know what or how much flex you get if any .

If you're getting the LRPV it's got the HS stock, way better that the one I have. In retrospect I should have waited and got the HS. It’s only $300 something more. But I was impulsive. I'm already thinking to next year for my big ($$$) build.

I'm a Remington man through and through but I have to say almost without fail the new Savages will edge out a Remington 700 for out of the box accuracy. I just might move to the dark side yet... Love the quick swap barrels too...

Oh I keep thinking of going back, you cant beat the price for out of box accuracy, i still kick my ass for selling it

Bed that action and I bet with handloads, it gives many a custom rifle a run for the money.

Nice rifle. Enjoy shooting it.

If you haven't change the recoil pad, get a limbsaver. HUUUUGGGGE improvement over the Savage hockey pucks.
