My first custom paint job

Personally I think an olive drab would look nice, something like the coloration on some of the C7A1s we Canadians used to use with the OD hand guard.


Please no one suggest gold paint.

I have this CRAZY urge to paint my M14 stock Fire Engine RED with a Glossy clear coat.... Am i going nuts? I wonder how it would look... (yes i am serious). I must be watching too many 600 yard national matches with custom gun

What paint do you suggest for a beginner like me? Or if anyone local want to help me? I am always willing to repay your kindness with BEER and RUM!!! XD
