When I started shooting handguns I had no interest is tupperware guns. I've been shooting handguns for 18 months and used some Revolvers and 1911's mostly with a CZ85 to round things out. I walked into the gun store and picked up a 22 and I loved the way it fit my hand and the way it pointed seemed natural for me. Last year it felt brickish but now I like it a lot so much so I bought one. To have a little fun I got a 40-9 converstion barrel and an extra 9mm mag.

The lonewolf barrel is cool and I can't wait until I have more cash for mags and a 357 sig barrel.

Here is my Glock.....

You will love that G22, get out and shoot it lots and lots. You will never regret the Tupperware pistol. My third glock is a G17 gen4 and I am loving it. And yes I do have a 1911 and a Sig, they all have their merits but the pistol that gets to the range mostly is the G17!!!

Enjoy!

Not sure if I'll get another rear sight or not. After 36 rounds I found it really easy to shoot and I think a Glock 20 will be next year. I think I can get a conversion barrel for it to shoot 45 acp so I'll have 2 Glocks and 5 Calibers. 357 sig, 40, 9 mm 10mm and 45 acp.

I just picked up a gen 3 Glock 22 and 9mm barrel too and love it!
Went with Storm Lake, heard good things

Now just have get out and try it, good reason to get away from the inlaws :)

The G22 GEN 3 is one of my favorites of all time. If you are used to shooting 9mm in a heavier weight pistol, you will find it a little snappy launching 180 gr, but you will grow to love it and control it.

Get more .40 mags and not 9mm for your glock.
.40 mags will fit 13 rounds of 9mm in it.

That's why I love Glock pistols. They make sure to properly mark all of their mags REALLY WELL so mishaps don't happen. They probably wouldn't even work properly if loaded the wrong ammo in it. I'm pretty sure it would void every warranty on said pistol if was tried.

Cool guns just wish we had an indoor range so I could get out soon. I'll snpow shoe out to my range in the next few weeks but the weather has to be decent.

How much work was it to get the spring installed? I think I may get the extended slide release someday.

It came with 10 rounders and I got 11 in it. Neat I want 2 more mags so I'll try and get a pinned mag vs a 10 rounder. Great info guys. How reliable are they?

I can fit 12 9mm in to my 40 10 rounders. But sometimes I am having a feeding issues. With 9mm mags - 0 problems. I also went G22 with 40-9 barrel with mags and I've added 22LR conversion kit as well. Just need a .357 Sig barrel to make it a complete. 3.5 pund original glock connector and .25c job did the trick.
