Hi,
I have a Remington RAC 1911 bb pistol (yeah, I don't have a R-PAL yet, will probably never get one, even when I get a PAL).
The grips that came with it were just the stock brownish plastic ones, so I one day decided to customize that. So I looked into getting custom 1911 grips but found out thanks to RobertMCc that I'd have to carve out the bottoms to leave a hump for the co2, so I just decided to paint the ones already with the gun. And here it is:
Step 1: (before picture)
Step 2: First coat of white
Step 3: Third coat of white Acrylic before spray paint. (spray paint step unfortunately not pictured)
Step 4: Remove tape to reveal the red (which was done first but unfortunately not pictured).
And then this is the result:
For my first time ever doing this, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
