My first sale.

I sold 26 other guns on CGN and traded 3 others with CGN members.
My thanks go to CGN.

My deals were right across the country.
5 in Alberta
3 in BC
1 in Nfld
2 in Nova Scotia
12 in Ontario
1 in PEI
2 in Quebec.

Most of the pieces were WWII.
5 pistols
15 long guns
5 12.3 converted autos

Some of them are shown below.

I’m always confused about your posts.

Why?
Why are you sharing pictures of other peoples guns?
Why are you telling everyone what you’ve sold?

I am so confused.. even more so when you put more time and effort into your posts than most people and they just don’t make sense lol

When I bought these guns I never thought about selling them.
I took very detailed photos of all of them--which I still have.

I only decided to sell them once I decided to focus my collecting on U.S. Civil War stuff.

It always puzzled me how people expect to sell their guns without any photos.
I could never have done that.

I have one more rifle for sale on CGN and then I am done---I think?

Believe me----it is not a little record system!

I would have been prepared to provide detailed photos with descriptions to anyone that purchased one of my guns. (If requested.)

Mr. Confused, Did you graduate with Honours in Confusion?
There’s nothing wrong with seeing a Great Collection.

I was not successful selling these two pistols on CGN---SO---I had them deactivated and sent them to Collector's Guild in New Brunswick.
They were sold in U.S. dollars.

David,

It’s been several years since we last chatted. I hope you’ve been keeping well. Prior to your refocus on Civil War era militaria, I think it’s safe to say that you once possessed one of the most impressive collections of WWII firearms in the country. Each piece was in top condition, and your stuff was always untouched factory original. I really enjoyed chatting with you over the years because your passion was infectious, you were always a standup gentleman and your knowledge was (is) really inspiring. You’ve contributed a lot to this site, so for that I thank you, but I too am a little perplexed by some of your more recent posts. In a roundabout way, you’ve posted very similar threads several times which showcase these same photos over and over again. Your collection is really well documented, and members can easily pull up the images, so I (humbly) ask why you keep creating these threads? Please don’t take my question the wrong way, because I’ve got a lot of respect for you. If you’re actively collecting Civil War era stuff, I for one would love to see some of the more recent pieces that you’ve added to your collection since selling the WWII stuff.

All the best,

Your old bud Chris

Hi Chris ---thanks for your comments.
I only have one rifle left to sell on CGN so I doubt I will be posting very much about stuff that I have left to sell or have sold.

I have been spending time today trying to organize my info regarding stuff that I have sold and have left to sell on Collector's Guild.

The stuff with a red S has been sold.

Here you go Chris----as requested.

Five guns all acquired from the same fellow.

All of these guns were purchased from the same fellow with the heavy Polish accent.
Sometimes all cash ---sometimes with trades.
He would call me when he had something he thought I would like.
He would bring it to my house to photograph or to conclude the deal.

He knew nothing about CGN at that time. I don't know if that has changed.

He also had WWII pieces which I photographed for him.

Four deals in 2017 and one in 2019.

No cost for shipping at the Post Office!
