NP22. Bought it thursday July 25th, they started transfer the next day. Called CFO on tuesday to hassle them about my transfer, and got it done just after Frontier closed tuesday. They shipped it out wednesday and in my hand friday. Excellent service all around, nice on the phone, will buy from them again. Wife and I took it out saturday and it was a blast, put a few hundred rounds of assorted ammo and it all fed flawlessly.

Nice piece. Good to see a couple enjoying a hobby together. Btw you're right about it being your first handgun, they get lonely in the safe without a few buddies with them. Oh and your wife will want one of her own, just sayin'

My first hand gun was Jan. of this year, I now have 4, daughter has 2, and my downstairs bedroom looks like the end of the world is here, 1000 9 mm cleaned and de-capped ready to be re-loaded, I loaded 150 - 357 the day before, 150 - 45s the day before that, enough powder for about 14,000 rounds. And to think, 10 months ago before taking restricted test I had never handled a handgun, or loaded a cartridge. Oh and by the way, my daughter's last gun was from Frontier, and what was it you say, an NP22.

I think I must have obscene luck...I've never had a transfer (out of 6, so far) take longer than 2 days. My last one was same day I called, and this is Ontario!

I haven't handled any other norc handguns, but this one is good. Some rough machining marks, but I was surprised how smooth it cycled and rail to frame seems tight, no wiggle on anything really. This will be one of many. Have had my PAL since January, and this was gun 12 lol.

I purchased one from Frontier on July 26. They started the transfer same day. To date it still hasn't been approved. This is not my first restricted; I have 5 currently. So....should I be calling the BC CFO (I live in Vancouver)? If so what should I say? I've dealt with them in the past and the person I got over the phone was not very pleasant and helpful at all.

It's a month waiting times now, call and ask for an update on your transfer, duh lol. if you done this 5 times already with your other res guns, why are you asking "what to say to CFO office"? Strange questions

Easy Killer!!! No need to be douchey. Just because he has 5 restricted guns currently doesn't mean he's had to phone them. To the fellow, I might suggest phoning and seeing what the progress is and if there is anything you can do to assist them with getting it done. No matter how "not nice" they are, no need to stoop to their level, just be nice and keep things rolling along.

Was told by Reliable gun, and confirmed when I called, that CFO will no longer release the transfer to the place you bought it from unless you call and request they release it to them, so if waiting for a transfer and you haven't called, give them a call. My last purchase, ruger 1911, was 1 hour 20 minutes from credit card to walking out the door with it, my daughter's NP22 from Frontier was over the weekend before it was sent out cause she didn't call CFO on the Friday but waited till Monday.

Who spit in your corn flakes this morning? I've never phoned the CFO ever to ask for an update. Never had to....I've always had my transfers approved in a day or two.

Good advice! Thanks a lot. I will do that. :)
