I love mine! Best to start with something a little hotter, like CCI mini-mags or Remington Yellow Jackets for the first few hundred rounds. After that it'll eat just about anything.

The Federal 525 bulk packs work well, the Win 333/555 are ok but you will have some feed/dud issues with those.

Don't skimp on the oil, Sigs like to run wet. Have fun!

Get to your local CDN Tire Ammo Cabinet and get a few cases of .22s before they are all gone....BLUE LIGHT SPECIALS ARE ON FOR XMAS....lol

Congrats on your handgun, very nice

Good job! The Sig is a nice gun. Good choice of going with a 22 for your first HG and I'm pretty sure the one you got can be easily upgraded to 9mm!

Oh it will be my first of many i am pretty sure! I have a bunch of bulk ammo from my rifles that i plan on trying and about 300 rounds of cci mini mag if that don't work, so i think i am good for one range visit!

Great choice. I also picked one of these up for myself for an early X-mas gift. I have the 40 S&W x-change kit, but I got it mostly for the .22 So far after 1000 rounds it has had 3 failure to feeds that I completely blame on cheap dynapoint ammo. At 15 yards CCI Blazers were the best consistant grouping ammo for me. The new Winchester M-22 bulk stuff has been very good and reliable. Mini mags have performed flawlessly as well. Great platform.
Shoot it lots and have fun.

Sig .22

Very nice! I'm tearing mine down and giving some oil and grease lovin'... can't wait to put this thing to work!

You may find that oil works better on .22 slides as some greases will slow down the cycle. Try both. The ammo you use makes a difference too. Many find higher velocity rounds work best.

Nice purchase.
One of my favorite for range time.
Pretty soon you'll start looking a some nice upgrades from Sigpower.
