My first hunt

A friend of mine from work took me hunting for the first time on Friday. It was great. I don't have my license yet so I just got to scout/watch, but had a blast. We saw about a dozen deer and a guy my friend knows got a moose, so got to help out with cleaning it out. I wish I'd known about this years ago! Oh well, better late then never.

A sincere Welcome!! Your buddy needs to be commended for bringing another future hunter into the fold. There's lots of folks around that are more than willing to help answer your questions. You may want to join a rod & gun club in your area to get you pointed in the right direction, mattpiloto...KF

Go write your PAL examine take a hunters saftey course and you're good to go next fall.
Soon you'll find yourself with a collection of guns, muzzleloaders and bows

Already wrote my PAL test, just waiting for it to come back in the mail. I already have a nice list of guns I'd like, for now I'll have to stick to the short list of 2 or 3.
