Hey guys,

Just wanted to share a cool rifle I got recently. Although mismatched (most are), this Breda 1927 production Greek Mannlicher Schoenhaur was really worth the wait! I used IRG for the import process. What makes this rifle special is not only it's rarity, but the Italian capture markings found on the receiver. Big thanks to Frank and Bill as well for helping with some questions I had on these rifles, it is my second Greek and both of those guys are very knowledgeable on their Greek and Italian weapons.

Enjoy,

Congratulations on acquiring that beauty of a rifle! They are a joy to shoot, definitely one of the best actions out there!

I agree, I had a previous one which turned me on to them so I got lucky and found a really nice one to enjoy. They are rare to find untouched in this way, I hope as time goes on to add a few more to the collection between them and the Dutch mannlichers they are some of my favorite rifles.

I have a real love for the mannlicher rifles both straight pull and the turn bolts. The Dutch Mannlicher is one of the ones that I really wanna add to my collection. A good friend of mine has a long rifle and carbine, it’s always a blast when he brings them out.

I sold a long rifle a little while back, but I am still looking for another. Patience pays with these things I want one in the infantry pattern if possible, the atypical long rifle.

She’s a beauty congrats my friend :D . How smooth was the import process? Still on the fence about trying haha

Thank you! It was actually rather easy, the seller I purchased from has an FFL which made transfer over to the IRG Arizona warehouse easy. It took a little longer as I had to mail a US money order to him, but after that it was smooth sailing IRG makes things happen! I would recommend them for sure as well as the seller from gunbroker, sreisel. He was great to communicate with and had no qualms about working with someone up North.
