Hi all,
Been shooting for about 3 years precision rimfire bench rifles (At first CZ'S and now Anschutz). So far, I was sticking to Sightron SIII scopes which I find of very good quality. Now I am waiting for a centerfire (.308) rifle, a Rem 700P which is being upgraded ( trigger etc.) and will be put in a Cadex chassis by ATRS. For this new experience, i decided to try a Nightforce scope. I just bought a (like new) 8X32X56 on the EE and I received it today ( thanks to a very nice CGnutter) and I will try it on my new rig. I'll keep you guys posted in a few weeks when I receive the rig. from ATRS

Thanks for reading me

I bought an SIII for my Ruger Precision. I toyed around with the idea of a Nightforce. I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts on it vs the Sightron. Have fun with it...I'm a little jealous :)

Thanks all for your encouragements. Quigley don't feel bad. No matter of the Nightforce performance, Sightrons SIII are VERY good scopes. I have 2 of them and think highly of this brand. I just wanted to experience the Nightforce.

I bought my first Nightforce 8 months ago ( NXS MIL-R 5.5-22). Love it so much I bought a SHV MIL-R 4-14x50 F1 for my RPR and seriously considering selling my VX-3 long range varmint to fund another. The glass is awesome and the tracking is on point.

Owned 2 NF before purchasing an equivalent SIII.

Used the SIII in competition last year and thought it did just fine for $1000 less money. Still have all of them and am considering another SIII for another competition rifle.

You will enjoy that nightforce , they are great . Also feels good to have one as there is not much better then nightforce and Schmidt & Bender. Two best rifle scopes in the world
