here is some pics of my long branch No4 I have been putting back together. its the first No4 in my collection. almost all the metal parts have the Canadian arrow or LB marking. the bolt matches the receiver. the wood set looks like it is matching at least in numbers. I have been told here to keep it together even though the color of the butt is different.
I still need to get a magazine and next year I will repaint the black colored parts the way there were at one time.
sorry about the outdoor pics I lost the light. I will get better ones next time I get a chance.

any tips or comments I'd like to hear from you guys!

"repaint the black parts"
??? you might want to research that a bit before you "paint" a LongBranch.
Just a thought but let the metal show it's age, tell it's story. Just be sure to clean and lightly oil to prevent any further degradation.
Others with MUCH more knowledge than I have will be along shortly to chime in with some good advice, but that's how I see it.
Enjoy it!!! but don't "paint" it.

what I am talking about is the black FTR painted parts. it looks the metal bits on the wood have that coating too. its the muzzle, trigger guard and bolt handle.
