My first precision rifle build

Here it is, my first attempt at building a precision rifle.

-Remington 700 SPS .308
-Robertson Percision tactical stock
-Bedded by Ian Robertson
-Harris bi-pod
-Warne Maxima Tactical rail
-waiting on Bushnell 4200 Elite 6-24x50

did that start life as a sps varmint? How did you find mounting the Robertson stock btw?

indeed very nice stock, really changes the whole look of the rifle.

I wasnt aware that robertson would inlet and bed it for you

Aside from a new stock, what exactly did you "build"?

lol...Ya guess I should have said had built for me.

The nice thing about a project like that is you can upgrade as time and funds allow. Putting a bipod and nice stock on a $550 rifle is a good first step, but you will achieve ultimate "precision" with putting a proper match barrel on it with a proper chamber that will allow you to seat the bullets to a length that will still let you use the magazine, and having that action blueprinted
