Have to say, first and foremost I'm a CZ-550 0r Ruger 77 type guy.... Lately the wife has been seeing me buy Browning shotguns for clay games with the kids this spring and while we were on vacay did something kinda nice for Valentines but was then filled with buyers remorse and that the wrong choice was made....

I'm pretty damn happy with it, haven't truly had time for the once over but all looks good on the surface. Little unique with the oct barrel but the plastic mag has me cringing a bit but will outlive me no doubt.... Now off to my favourite junkhouse in the Interior to see about a used glossy Leupy....

Damn, also officially part of the metric family now with the 7mm RM residing in the safe...

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the fitmint of the plastic magazine.
They seem to "SNAP" in there quite nicely with little effort.

What model of X-bolt haven't seen this one before, appears to be maple stock. The magazine on these rifles is very good, they center feed and protect the bullet from slamming into the front of mag on recoil.

That is a nice looking Xbolt - and in my favourite calibre. I almost picked up an Xbolt recently as I liked the profile and the short bolt throw, but found the Steyr I was after. I wouldn't worry about the plastic mag.

And done for spring bear season!!! What an operation to get a gloss scope, probably the last Jackass in the universe with a 6X straight scope.....

If this rig shoots straight I might be torn on my favourite rigs
