I thought I'd share my fix for the problem of the threaded version of the WK180C charging handle backing itself out due to vibrations. I don't like to torque it down with a tool because then I can't remove it by hand if I need to in the field.

The fix is based on thread-locking screws like these from McMaster:
https://www.mcmaster.com/thread-locking-screws/thread-locking-pan-head-phillips-screws/

I simply drilled a small hole (1/16" I think) across the threads of the handle and pushed a plastic dowel into the hole (an M2 nylon screw will work), making sure to leave it extend beyond the threads of the handle so it creates friction. I did this on the drill press, but if you're careful you might be able to with a hand drill too.

Note the DIY handle I made with an M6 bolt, 2 knurled nuts and a couple of washers.
