my friend ran Surplus ammo in Savage 10 BA!!

Anyway...... I don't borrow anybody's stuff... And in not doing so, I also reserve the right not to lend my stuff. I'm not talking a hammer or a cup of sugar... I mean my toys! Especially my guns and anything mechanical.

I have shot insanely good moa groups with Norinco bulk 7.62 from my R700 xcr tactical , better than any other run of the mill non match factory ammo i have tried ! Im just too scared to make a habit of it with the bi metal jacket bullet . Its almost worth sacrificing a barrel to see if the lifespan would be shortened much from Norinco ammo because damn it shoots good for about 35 cents a round , could just be my rifle likes it ?? I might just buy a cheap used 700 sps and only run bulk norinco in it and see how far i can get before i need a rebarrel.

Why worry about it after you already lent it?...
If I were concerned I wouldn't have lent it, If I had (which I wouldn't) I'd be more concerned how long it took him to rattle off the "100" rounds (is this what he told you or what your guessing...).
At this point;
-Clean it.
-Confirm it's ok and
-Live with the outcome.

If the guy can afford a hundred rounds he can afford a gun.
