And I though I was doing pretty good at having a nice little petting zoo of vehicles.

^Hetzer (with post war diesel engine) and I am kicking myself for not getting any interior shots, next time.

One cannot say those old wartime Germans did not have a bit of a sense of humour. If they could call their Uber sized tank the "Maus" then they could call the smallest of tracked "vehicles" a "Goliath"

^ the wing section was made to represent a section of (shot down) ME109. Dave takes the Hetzer to airshows in the US and its just more bling for the man cave.

Now here is something for the jeep guys.

It is kind of rare as jeeps goes.

And a couple of Kubels, the one furthest away is 1940 and came out of Libya in the 1960s where it had been used by Imperial Oil as a little run about, the nearer in is 1941. If only the 40 Kubel could talk.

technically it was called the Jagdpanzer 38(t) not the hetzer. There was no documents from the war ever calling it a hetzer from the Germans. There was recent document floating around by the allieds during the war calling it a hetzer. If it is a diesel, and this is the one Im thinking it is, it will probably be a Swiss post war.
