Quick snap while cleaning. A 1953 Springfield Armoury, with 1954 Springfield barrel. "LEAD" is Letterkenny Army Depot, so it was rebuilt in May 1969. It has a National Match op rod, not unusual as they were not too fussy when grabbing parts for rebuild in the 60s. Pretty much unmessed with since then.
