Nothing wrong with it at all. You make do with what you have and enjoy shooting it regardless. There are a lot of snobs with high-end rigs that you can probably out-shoot.

Standard HV 40gr bullet drop at 200yds is around 42.5 ". drift in 10mph cross wind, about 19". There is a ballistics sticky in the rimfire forum.

we where shooting last weekend at our gong at 300yards with my ruget using PMC Zapper I had to hold 6' over the gong to hit it but I hit it alot...


long range 22lr shooting is a blast..try using little green army men at 100 or 150 yards!!!it a riot

For yucks and "oohs and ahhs" I occasionally bring one of my 22 match rifles to the range and tap the 200 meter silhouette chicken offhand with irons.
Lottsa fun, and it is cheeap compared to centerfire!:dancingbanana:
