While it may not be tricked out like many I have seen on here, I still love it, and it will be the first of many levers in my collection.
A scope and sling are on their way.

That is definitely a magazine quality picture.

What scope are you going to put on it? If I get another one it will likely get something like a 1-4x or a 1.5-5, maybe a fixed 2.5x if I scope it. My last 1895 had a peep sight and it was excellent.
 
There is an old adage about photography that goes like this. "Light isn't just something about photography, light is everything about photography."
And you have used light superbly. Great photo.
I am interested in the knife, but don't want to hi-jack your thread, so I am starting another one here, about knives.
 
The only other gun photography I have done. I am currently in college for studio photography, and intend to do commercial and advertising after school, and I am leaning towards hunting/sporting/firearms among other stuff.

Well,
I went out to buy a scope and mounts for the 45-70 yesterday, and I came home with a new Savage 114 euro classic in 30-06 instead :s
So it looks like to save some $ I'll be going for a reciever sight for the time being.
