Figured I would post my darling Mini14. Not quite as 'scouty' as my m305 (no front rail... yet) but boy is it a pointer. And pretty...

The cheek weld is actually perfect as is. I got a mighty tall head and a short neck :p

I live in Toronto, and you can't be too safe with storage. Locks, safes, etc...

The bipod is there because at the range I shoot off a rest out to 300 meters sometimes. Nice to have a little bipod in the front.

Despite rumours to the contrary, the Mini is an accurate little gun.

I would post a slightly revised version of Ivan Chesnokov's thoughts about a certain SKS, but I received an infraction last time I did that from some overzealous moderator.

Any reason this particular rifle is offensive to hippies? I do hate hippies...

Mr. Spectacular

I'm assuming you're referring to Ivan's posts about not modifying firearms? I.E. Rifle was fine before I ****ed it?

What's modified on here? I added a simple red dot, and the cheek pad is cause my beard slips on the nice smooth wood.

I suppose the only thing I changed is I replaced the factory ruger handgaurd with a choate gaurd because it keeps the barrel a little cooler, and the Minis are known to string a little when they get hot.

OR I'm just having my balls busted....

If that is a Ruger ring holding the Aimpoint(?), how well does it hold a zero? I guess a 30mm Ruger ring will keep a red dot in place from the look of that set up.

I don't see how that set up could be criticized by spectacular-minded posters. All you've added was an optic, bipod and cheek rest. Big deal to the critics...pfftt.
