Dear fellow CGN'ers,

Please accept my most sincere apologies with regards to my post,

"Crap, my KSG just broke"

On my second trip to the range, I had noticed what looked like a small chip, or a broken tooth of one of the picatinny rails under the forarm of my new KSG.

This however, turns out to be a factory cut notch [for what reason I'm not sure] and NOT a broken tooth as I has originally thought. I knew it looked a little too clean for a break, but sometimes thats how fractures appear.

I am truly sorry for all the negative excitment and anxiety that I have caused as a result of my lack of research in this matter, before I made my post.

To all of you that have a pre order, or are thinking of buying one, I truly apologize for any negative feelings that I may have generated due to my own lack or knowledge and failure to reasearch the issue before making a statement.

Yes, its true that there is some contact between the forearm and the trigger guard area, but NOTHING on my gun has broken so far.

I do encourage all who are interested in this gun to go ahead and buy one when they are available, as I do believe that it is still a sturdy and strong design, even if the polymer may be prone to failure as some have experienced.

Sincerely,

Brian.

Smart move.

This forum sells alot of guns

Way to man up about it. We all make mistakes

This kind of responsibility is refreshing nowadays

I respectfully tip my hat to you sir.

It was funny how all the internet warriors came out and decried the KSG just because they heard or read something somewhere. I've been following everything I can about the KSG for the past two years. And aside from a very few broken forearms the KSG has held up very well. Check out this video. Guy seems like a bit of a poser but I'm guessing he's got a very difficult job.

Apart from being the clumsiest man I have ever seen (He keeps on dropping that gun left, right, and center Laugh2) I have to admit that the man can really run a pump shotgun pretty fast.

Hoping its operator error, but every time he picked up the shotgun after one of his drop tests, he had to rack it like 3 times until it started firing.

If its that complicated to use, what's the point?

It may be part of their moa... The guns were dropped with no rounds in the chamber and the mag tube selector in the middle position. He may be cycling the action two or three times to clear any potential stoppages induced by the drop tests. Similar to retention drills with a pistol where you perform a tap and rack before getting back to business.

what a wanker!!
I sure hope thats not a Kel tec approved video
The guys a tool, the worrior... the worrior, your the worrior..... WTF.
Allso hes not pumping it that fast, that gun is one of the earlyones that has no disconector, hes holding the trigger down and just pumping.
Its a safety issue and im sure was fixed before mass production.
No sighting system those shotguns ,allso no atempt on he behalf to aim without over shoot.
He makes most of the corections guys i know look bad.
But maybe its because hes the worrior, C-SOG worrior......
