Sig Sauer 1911 Tac Ops

I've owned both Kimber and Springfield, this by far is the nicest 1911 I've ever owned. The fit and finish is superb, the slide to frame fit is tight and smooth. It came with 4 mags too which is just the icing on the cake. The finish also seems very durable, I've been racking the slide all night and it doesn't leave any marks, I guess only time will tell. I'm pretty pumped I think this ones a keeper.

The only thing I wanna change is the trigger, it's a little heavy for my liking, plus I think a black trigger would look better.

Looks very nice.

If it shoots as good as it looks you'll have a keeper for sure.

NAA.

Thats my hope, based on it's professional reviews/testing it apparently performs very well. One other thing I was alittle disappointed about was my surefire x300 didn't fit. It fits onto the rail but the locking lug on the light doesn't line up to a slot. Ever herd of this?

As far as the rail mount light goes, my Streamlight came with multiple inserts for different rails. Same with your light maybe?
Really nice gun!

I don't know if you remember but last year we tried that light on my 1911's and had the same results from what I could see it's the shape of the trigger guard that stops it from locking in. BTW beautiful gun should see mine in 8-12 weeks

Yes, you can't go wrong with a 1911 Sig or any Sig for that matter. But wait until you get your hands on a STI Edge or Range Master and then tell us you still like your new Sig the best, lol.:stirthepot2:

Can someone tell me when it is that Sig 1911s went from being universally hated to universally lauded? A couple of years ago it was near impossible to find a positive review of these guns...

Based on what I've read, they've worked the bugs out of there 1911 line. Sig has come full circle with there 1911's, the end result being a reliable, quality piece that is priced right.

This 1911 TacOps has the same features and arguably the same quality as the Kimber Warrior and the Sig is still about 400 bucks cheaper.

I would definitely not call any of this "universal". Whether you hear good things about sig 1911s or bad things depends entirely on who you're listening to...
