My new 20 ga O/U

Ahsan Ahmed said:
Did you mean both 20 and 16 in sxs?

Thanks for asking, Ahsan - I might have misled some folks otherwise.

Currently shipping are 12, 20, and .410 ga in your choice of pistol grip or straight stock, single or double triggers. Jonatan at Wide North has been advocating the factory to bring out 16 and 28 ga. Apparently there's a possibility for those gauges in 2008, but no promises, yet.

"The wood is fantastic and it shoots like a dream" Sooooo why do you want to sell it? Is it because it's a 12 ga.?

How much are the 20 gauge SxS selling for?

I got the price list from them. The sxs start at $700. and go up 1850. There have been some issues with them if you belive what is on the internet.

I am intersted in one but would like to look at them first. Buying a gun by mail order is risky if you've never seen one.

No I bought a trap gun and a waterfowl gun, this is just sitting here. Great upland gun.

Where would I order the gun from? Wide north is a distributer right?

Here's what he sent me by email after I talked to him on the phone. (I don't know where he got the name Dustin) You order directly from him. He siad they have sold 5,000 guns without a problem with any of them. That is hard to belive. I bought a new berreta that had to be sent back as it would move the safety to the "safe" position after the first shot,so any manufacturer can have problems.

Hi Dustin!

I tried to e-mail you the catalog, but I guess its to big. Will try to send
a second e-mail with it.. I have attached the price list for you in this
e-mail...

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to phone/fax/e-mail me..

Kindly Regards

Jonatan Lyrén

I want one! I NEED one!:runaway: :shotgun: You cost me money I don't have...

Now, who imports them to the lower 48?;)

This may replace a well worn French Robust No. 4 in 16 gauge as my grouse/quail gun. It is eye candy, for sure.:)

Where did you read about issues with the side by sides --- the only place they are available in North America is Canada. If you want to read reviews go to Shotgunworld.com and scan down to "I love my Yildiz". Wide North is the Importer. I'm so impressed with these guns, I just arranged to get the Distributorship for the Maritimes. Anyone intrested can contact me (pm)

Hey Grouser, I was wondering if you had a chance to handle any of their clay guns? How about giving us an ongoing report on your new toy. Any more info would be appreciated. Cheers.

from a forum.....

Just won a 12ga Yildiz O/U at a clay shoot in Shreveport last weekend. They are sold by Academy and a few other gun shops around the US.

oh man, I love the metal finish, and the sparkling pattern milling, and the hardwoods are incredible. Lucky bastard, some day I'll own a beautiful O/U (I love the Citoris)
