Picked this up from a fellow CGN'r, NIB. It is a Taurus PT24/7 DAO. Seems like a very nice pistol, comes with a good quality box, 3 mags (10/17) 2 extra backstraps, cleaning brush, spare parts incl. 2 extra recoil springs. Feels nice in hand, similar to a Glock, however it is a little bit shorter and is a little bit narrower. Im heading to the range tomorrow to try it out. I'll be putting up a quick review on my you tube page for those that are interested, mikehammer1911.

Nice guns. You should take some pics with a DSLR camera if you are into artsy angles and photo scenes. Play with some lighting and depth of field when you are taking pics of your nice hardware.

I love the pics though. Its like we get to unbox it like you did :)
 
Legal or safety reasons?
If it's safety, I don't think Americans tell each other to be careful with the live ammo in their carry guns.

Safety. He has live ammo in the gun, and a knife stuck through the trigger guard.

I've never seen ammo go off by itself, the pistol would have to chamber itself and then the knife would have to pull the DA trigger and fire the round, all while I'm sitting in front of it watching it happen. Learn to handle the pistol properly and not be scared.

Yeah. Or the phone could ring and you get distracted.

You let the slide drop forward, then stick the knife back in the trigger-guard. Whoops.

All I said was; "Be Careful". And hopefully you are.
 
I do like your pistol by the way.

Taurus reminds me of Kel-tec. Lots of neat products for very reasonable prices.
