i moved my loading bench in the house next to my computer. to cold in the shop most of the time. i bought
a discontinued elcheapo tool box at crappy tire and made
a bolt on stainless top and back with shelves. the loading
press comes of with just a wing bolt to acces the top drawer.

Looks good, neat too (Not always like that is it? :))! Must have got lucky to find the stainless:D. What do you use for a seat? I have my reloading setup in the shop and I'm starting to wonder if it is a good idea too. Sincerely, fred

Fred, this pic should tell u what i use for a seat.hehehehe.
the other blue thing in the corner is that u see in one of the pics is my corner safe made of 3/8 inch plate.

Nice set-up, good thinking. How do you like the Classic Turret?
i love it. i have a bunch of turets ordered and great for what i want. i just bought the lee case trimer , the one
where u pull the rope. that works like a hot damm. i bought the lee factory crimp die and set it beside the
seating die and that works slick. i'm seting up for 357
mag, 357 max and 44 mag hand guns and rifles. i'm enjoying my retirement.

love your set up...this is a very good solution for a reloading bench in limited space like appartments...
it does not always have to be a basement full of reloading equipement and machinery to make good reloads...
my set up is even simpler: I use an IKEA kitchen butcher's table for $ 50.00
with my press installed...it is very sturdy, works perfect and has wheels for easy transportation...
cheers

Jeez, you know I had a seat just like that a few years back. The back flexed on it a bit so you could lean back if you were getting tired. Found where I locate myself in relation to my work to be as important with reloading as it is when working at my shop bench. Right now I rotate between a stool that is just high enough to catch the edge of my butt and a metal chair that I can sit in when I get tired. It matters for when I'm doing alot of reloading and I'm not quite there, even now, on what actually works best for me. One of these days I am going to build a bench where the press is located at the end of a recess in the edge of the bench and raised a bit so I can sit in front of it more comfortably. My chance is coming soon, as I noticed I have my present reloading bench connected to a piece of wall in my shop where I want to put the door into the extension I am building (Really good planning that one:redface:. You can imagine what I'd do with 3/8th plate:D). fred

come on eh..stop teasing and show us some pics

here is one of my safes. look closesly and u can see the
costco automatic light in the safe roof. u notice it locks
the door on top, bottom, and side. yes it is a corner safe
with a dozzen 4 in lag bolts to the wall. it has tamper
proof built in goodies that we won,t disscuss here.
