My new baby -- PWS MK110-223

For my upcoming birthday I decided to treat myself and order a PWS MK110-223 from Questar. I already have a 14.5" barrel Norinco CQ-A.

I lucked out when I ordered it late last month because soon afterwards Questar got a shipment from PWS. After waiting for almost two weeks for the BC CFO approve of the transfer, I called them up and apparently noone had looked at the transfer request -- the woman authorized it within five seconds. Questar shipped it out this Monday and I got it Friday afternoon!

I bought the Magpul AFG from Questar over a year ago. My Norc doesn't have a quad rail so I never put it on until now. However, since I've yet to receive the registration certificate from the BC CFO yet I can't go to the range this weekend to try out the rifle! Gah!

You will like it! I have the same unit except with the 12.5 inch barrel. Amazingly little recoil with the PWS piston system!

I was hoping I could use the FDE Magpul CTR from my Norinco but that's commercial-spec, whereas the PWS buffer tubes are mil-spec.

The PWS buffer tube was one of the selling points for me. The castle nut kept getting loose on my Norinco to the point I had to buy a castle nut wrench to tighten it.
