No, she doesn't, but my brother in law does. And her boss is REALLY strict about who gets the discount... She can, her hubby can, but that's technically it.

does she have her permit?if not why should it mater if she is buying ammo

I had my only fugly Savage left out with me the past few days, had a chance to try out some bird loads I did up recently, they worked great.

I have actually liked every Savage that I have owned(with some work of course). Ugly or not, they work. Not sure if I will buy any more but I know I will keep this one. It has killed far too many animals and is too accurate and reliable to let go.

Have fun with your new rifle Leslea!

I'm DEFINITELY having fun with it... Though I'm a little surprised how it kicks a tad harder than my ol Enfield .303! DAYUM!

;)

ah

if he has a 308 have him by his and your ammo at the same time

i hear you on the expensive thing i have one in .223 which is around the same price and AE is 9.99 it seams to do goot with this check stuff i bought at the gun shop

there aint much better then shooting centerfires i've been shooting an air gun way to long

mines the predator hunter can't wait to bag me a yote or two

If you get a chance, try out 150 grainers. They sizzle down the barrel a little faster than a 30-06 (check a reloading manual) and burn less powder in the process. They might even feel a little lighter on the shoulder too!!!

So...what about 150 grain bullets loaded in the ammunition for a .30-06 chambered rifle?

The latest... Had my new baby out today to finish up setting the scope... it's dead on at 100 Yards. It's so accurate a rifle that I'm also able to ping a target at 277 yards (300 was just over the hillside, lol). It was an 8" diameter saw blade that was on edge so I only had an inch of vertical target to shoot at, but one that was nearly 8" wide from what I could see. It was AMAZING to watch it do flips through the air on my third shot, once I figured out where to aim with the mil dots at that range! WOOO!

This is one SERIOUSLY sweet rifle!

Enjoy your Savage. They shoot like a house on fire and you can save your money for hunting trips. I love mine in 300 WSM.:)
